Wouldn't have thought so Lairy - but if you are using a good moisturiser and haven't changed your washing powder, etc, then a quick trip to the GP might be in order. Abigail |

Warfarin thins the bloods but also skin becomes thin - if this is so perhaps it is dry as well and a thick body moisturiser may help - if not go to GP. Husband was on it for 12 months. Ann |

rosie go back to the doctor you could be having a reaction and may need your dosage changed as skin itching is one of the reactions! when is your next blood test due? |

rose thats why you have to have blood test while you are on it! your body can adjust to the warfarin and the blood test will show whether you need to change your dosage. but the itching is a typical symptom. xx |

Hi Rose. My Dad has been on warfarin since February as he had a major operation. He has had terrible itching but the hospital has not picked up on the fact it could be the warfarin so thankyou for bringing this up. They have been months trying to sort it out. Could you please let me know what your GP says. Thanks. Alyson |
