Just to put in my take on this : 1. Il y a six leçons par jour. 2. Il y a environ cinq cents étudiants. 4. L'année dernière il y avait un voyage d'école à Paris. 5. Cette année il y a un voyage en Allemagne.

Annie I haven't lived there at all so can see why I am useless First trip there was at school and came down with suspected glandular fever and prickly heat and 2nd time we went to Eurodisney so didn't need any french

wendy Thanks am giving her all the versions and she can chose the way they use in the class. She knows the words its just the way they are put togeter all these tenses or something lol

Hi, I would agree with Annie's translation except for the 'Salon de classes' I would put 'salles de classes'. and 'a allemgane' I would put 'en Allemagne' Wendy

Oh no! This is bringing back all the agony of the past and future french tenses Tense was the word. Worrying about that lot must have been how I stayed slim!!!! Abigail

Hiya Can't fit accents in but these responses might help a bit There are six lessons a day. On a six lecons par jour or Il y a six lecons chaque journee There are approximately five hundred students. Il y a a peu pres cinq cent etudiants There are approximately fifty classrooms. Il y a a peu pres cinquante salons de classes Last year there was a school trip to paris. L'annee derniere l'ecole a visitee Paris This year there is a trip to germany Cette annee il y aurait une visite a l'Allemagne

There are is Il y a and six is six. Lesson is Lecon with the curly thing under the c (what was that called again?) a day or per day would be 'par jour', day is jour. Let me look back again! Abigail
