Hi All, sooooooooo sorry I haven't been around for a while - a problem with cookies or something or other and I couldnt log on .......all sorted now I hope !! Can I rejoin??? What's the November choice then??? I read The Pact/Shadow of the Wind, and I've still got 1984 under my bed from last month but I'm game for a new set of books to read and so I'll check back later .....hope I can log back on! Hi Ann I hope the fact that I didn't read any of the books last month has made you think I'm not interested anymore. It's just with the burglary and my friend passing away, I haven't really been able to settle down to much at all lately. Being part of Greaders has given me the opportunity to read books I would never have chosen. Some have been hard work (I'm with you on Thomas Hardy!), but I have enjoyed the vast majority of the other books. I'm sure I'll be back to my old self soon and joining in once again. Jeanette x

library shut early yesterday due to staff shortages or more likely lack of money lol going back tonight and please ann keep this going both my hubby and I are enjoying the books - there have been some i wouldnt have ever read and ive really enjoyed it so far. keep up the good work

Hi Elaine, welcome to our little club within a club! I would recommend that you search this board with 'Greaders' and all our old threads will come up! You can see then what we do and when we do it! You don't have to read all the books - just what you can manage, and all you have to do at the end is give your opinion. Hope you enjoy being part of it as much as I do! I have read some cracking books that I would never even have considered otherwise. Maz. XX

We seemed to have lost so many recently that I was wondering whether or not to continue, it is a bit dispiriting when I have to keep nagging away all the time to get replies and I wonder if people really are interested or keeping it going to 'humour' me.
