If Post office cannot deliver & leave you a card, you can ring your local sorting office, pay 50p at most to arrange for parcels to be left at local PO. |

Talking about having to collect a parcel, my postman left me a card from Royal Mail saying I had to go to the depot in Woolton Village. So having no direct bus route to Woolton from where I live I walked all the way there. ( I am a pensioner but still pretty fit.) I was handed a small box which would have easily gone through my letter box ! Thinking it was something from my family, I opened it on the way home, I can't repeat what I said when I found what it contained. Two flaming free low energy light bulbs !!!!! from British Gas . Grrrr !!!! |

That is disgusting and how many people will have fallen for it so easy if you are not thinking and haven't heard about it.I know my lad got a note through the door poor kid i dived on it don't ring I said turned out it was legit he was only going on the PC to find out where the depot was so he could pick up his parcel with out waiting for it. Sad when we have to be so suspisious. Germaine x |

This has been in the papers, it is a pure scam, there is no parcel, I think it might be an 0901 number. it is nothing to do with the Post Office. Ann Glos |

Our postman delivers parcels that don't fit through the letterbox. Well, ones he can actually carry! And I've rung them before and it didn't cost me £15 =/ They asked when I'd like it redelivered, I told them, they said thank you and bye. Cost £1 at the most =/ |
