Linda, why would you upset anyone by saying that? All I can say in reply to your posting is - Ditto! Oh - and that I'm glad there are people like you in this world. :-) Back on me soap-box again. Just reading Lou's header, I wonder what would happen if, God forbid, the baby had an illness, whereby its physical appearance changed, or it wasn't 100% healthy. Makes you think, eh. |

Only just come on GR this evening and found the thread , so pleased to hear that someone has agreed to take Archie and I can therefore sleep tonight! I have two cats which found me after a not brilliant start elsewhere and was wondering how I could possibly afford another. I was going to say that sometimes I despair of the human race but having read some of the replies to this thread and others it does make you realise how many kind people there still are out there. By the way if any of you feel strongly about Icelandic whaling can I ask you please to go on the Greenpeace site and send in their 'anti-whaling pledge' ? it will only take a few minutes. Thanks and love to all. Rose |

Bless him, he has the same name as my poor old Dad, bet he would have liked him. I do hope he finds a home really soon, why not get on to the paper and/or local tv - then the woman's neighbours will know what she has done too. Also the article/news item can show the other cats that need homes too, this often happens when someone can't get the 'special' cat or dog they spot another one and take that so might help the others waiting for new homes. How is this woman doing the Great Wall walk with a new baby? Strange or what? Liz |
