Congratulations to you all. My first grandchild was born 6 weeks ago, it did take a few days for it to sink in for me also. It is brilliant, knowing you have a little girl to love and cuddle and spoil without the sleepless nights. lol Jackie |

Thank you everyone for all your messages. I went to see 'mother and baby' today. I expected to see my daughter in bed looking really exhausted!! Instead she was up and dressed with hair and make up done!! You would never believe that she had spent over 3 days in labour. Olivia is just gorgeous and so contented. I hope that she is as relaxed in life as she was in wanting to enter the world.....13 days late!! I will try not to bore you all lol Nanna Jilly xxxx |

Many Congratulations to you all. xx First Grandchild is always the most nerve-wracking. I presume Mum and Baby will be home within a few hours after giving birth, if all has gone well. I was with my eldest when she gave birth to my very first Grandchild. Apart from having my four children, definatley the VERY BEST experience of my life. Jenny xx |
