my fella had a massive tattoo on his arm and he said that to begin with it does hurt a bit but then as it progresses you become numb to the pain and ignore it. With him it hurt a little bit afterwards because the skin was shocked(weird i know lol) xxxlisxxx

Im back home!It doesn't hurt at all!the worst bit is when they do the outline,I had to bite my lip for that bit! Its hurting more now than they actual tattoo did,but thats cos it's on my hip and my jeans are covering it, I actually nearly fell asleep when she was doing the colour! If you want one,go for it,I'm the biggest wimp known to man and If i can do it anyone can! BB xx

I got a rose,with hearts going down the stem,I even watched the woman do the coloured bit,Im getting brave in my old age! BB xx

Oh dear.....My mum just told me off for getting a tattoo,of all people u think she would know Im 22 years old and I can do what i want....lol BB xx

how long does the swelling take to go down?And when does the soreness stop? BB xx

Hi BB the swelling on mine took about a day to go down, and the soreness a couple of days! it depends on how big the tattoo and where it is i think! x karen
