Have you ever been the one to tell them? I had to at work some years ago, a delegation of ladies insisted I say something to this guy who had tide marks on his suit jacket!! I was very diplomatic and said I had noticed but suggested he sort it out before the ladies noticed.....phew....he was ripe. |

Years ago I worked with a girl in the same office who had really bad stale BO. I finally plucked up the courage to buy her some deodorant, put it on her desk with a llittle note saying 'If you use this you'll be really nice to be near'. It worked too. Sylvxx |

So strange this thread should come up today, my daughter came in from work last night and said a man of 27 had just started in her part of the office, her and her work partner have to train him, she said he smells so bad mum i want to heave, people have all remarked about the dreadful smell. She said i don't think i can work with him.I feel a bit sorry for him but how on earth do you tell someone they smell. Shirley Ann. |

Yes, that sounds good to me Shirley. It IS a very difficult problem to deal with tactfully but it can be done. And there was no ill feeling from her about it all. Sylvxx |
