When we first came to Spain to live - 5 years next month - we had rain and rain and more rain - went to local market in wellies and waterproof macs - prepared or what. Never worn the wellies since though. The drainage system in Denia could not cope with all the rain water. Mary in Spain

We had thunder and lightening during the early hours of this morning on the South Coast of England. Luckily it stopped and today has turned into a lovely warm sunny day. Hope your rain has stopped Roxanne. Linda

must agree that I think it comes as more of a shock to us,as we never seem to be prepared for it. I keep threatening to buy some wellies for next time, (been saying that for 2 years)
