Yes - worst experience of my life. I was physically threatened and verbally abused and threatened. He used to stand outside my house and peer through my windows. He told my boyfriend that I was sleeping with him. He told the police that I had robbed him and my boyfriend had broken into his house and assaulted him, he contacted our employers and said my boyfriend was a paedophile, causing a major security alert, wrote and published a book in which he libelled both of us, that went to the local Councillors, the Vicar, the National Lottery Heritage Fund and God knows who else, but he got away with it all. The Police were appalling - wouldn't help at all. At one point I was calling them almost every day to update my log, but it still took anything up to eight weeks for them to come and take a statement. I finished up moving but he followed me, looked up one night and he was staring back through the window at me. All Police could advise was to close curtains and get CCTV! Last incident was nearly two years ago, but I still have to be careful. I went to the Remembrance Day service last November and he was in the crowd with his grandchildren...and he started to move towards me. I just came home. I am still terrified that he might just carry out his threats that I will be 'seriously hurt.' Stalking isn't funny and despite the new legislation, the law is not really interested and is very slow to protect. Worst experience of my life. Sheila

I had a stalker back in early 1977.I was 8 months pregnant and had this man follow me up the school and to the nursery every day.I had a side alley to my house and he use to wait in there.He also use to look through my front room window.He also use to sit in his car outside my house.I would phone my nieghbour before i went out for her to check if he was anywhere around.I went into the school and nursery and told them not to let my children out with anyone but myself as i did not know what he wanted.The police could do nothing as he had not commited a crime.After i had my baby she was a couple of days old he went past my house in his car and i shouted for my husband.His car was covered in mud.A few weeks later we heard it was this man that had kidnapped a small child and raped her.If only the police had listened that small child would have been safe. You poor things. No I never have, but a friend of mine had a female stalker who wanted her to leave her husband and children for her. My friend was a wreck for a year until the stalker finally got the message.

Hi Deb, Im glad your taking them to court, harassement isnt nice at all. Sorry to hear you had tenants from hell.

Bryan, don't even try to stalk me. lol. would knock you on your arse luv. pmls. Tara: OMG now I don't feel so bad, some guys never take the hint that life goes on without them. I have to go to court in December due to a harassment and stalking case involving a couple of my tenants. Am not looking forward to it at all and am already losing sleep over the thought of it.

No, but I used to get telephone calls asking me if I had big ...... he obviously hadn't seen me because I was quite mammarily challeged at that time.......I told him I was a psychologist and was very interested in talking to him about his reasons for doing what he did.......unfortunately he didn't have the brainpower for any conversation other than the size of my ...... and the colour of my underwear......in the end I got bored and used to leave the phone in another room.....so he just talked to thin air.... the only problem was that my kids were young at the time and I didn't want them subjected to such tripe from this idiot......he gave up in the end.....

Yes I did my ex-boyfriend 3 years ago. I spent 7 long years with him and he was really good looking and had loads of friends but that was his disguise, they never believed me when I tried to confide in them for their help, he was the manipulative violent type, and did hit me the cowardly way on many occasions. Like a punch around the back of the head, so hard my contact lense fell out of my eye! and holding my throat and ramming my head into the bathroom mirror. Things like this happened alot. I am a confident person and I really couldnt say how he managed to knock my self-asteem and confidence out of me but he did. He grew as i wilted. He stalked me for 2 years after I left him and got a place of my own. He also phoned my mobile shouting abuse at me, and when I changed my number on two different occasions he found them out through friends of my friends. I moved twice also. When I met my now fiance of 4 years (getting married next year) for the first year of our relationship he still stalked me and made our lives a misery. He nearly stopped after being threatend by me to contact the police about his abuse. It was when my father called his mobile and said if dont leave my daughter alone then I will go to the police and take things further through the courts if neccesary, that he stopped. Now 6 years on I have regained all my confidence back and am very happy with my life. Tara

Hey Hayley, I'm just peachy, lol. Yea it was scary, the guy worked in same co. different department. Every other week OH worked afternoons so I would bus it home. This guy drove to work but would get on bus and get off when I did leaving his car in office parking lot. I didn't feel right and knew something was amiss so got off bus early and went into local mall and lost him going up and down the aisles, then I booted out the back door of the mall and scooted home as it wasn't far. This happened two or three times a week over about three weeks. Told OH and this guys boss so they both watched out for me. The boss even gave the guy extra work to keep him there then drove me home to make sure I was safe. One night OH switched shifts so the guy would think he was working (cause he knew OH schedule by now). Well I went out got in car as he came scooting out the door. He saw OH and stopped dead in his tracks. OH reveed the car and ran up over sidewalk making it look like he was going to hit him. Meanwhile boss was watching at the window so he fired him the next day and that's when he took off to Florida. Then murdered the girl. I was shocked when I heard that.
