Hiya Catherine, Batter bits. All they are, are the bits of batter that have broken away from the cooking fish, and slowly filling the frier. My chippy used to sell the bits for threepence, old money lol. They were gorgeous |

Well you've got my mouth watering now!! Michigan, can't even get a good bit of fish!! Used to stay with my aunt in the summer up in Blackpool, used to love going into Fleetwood early in the morning when the boats came in. Guess it's beef burgers for me tonight, and the silly little fries. Fiona. x |
