I miss the history and beauty of the British countryside, but have since developed an equal love of Australia! What, if anything, do you miss? .....oh and Marmite and Persil!

Sal my Bro in Law misses Crufts Dog Show so we tape it every year for him also send him a Yorkshire Calendar to remind him of home not Queensland . June.

I live in Q'land and I miss UK winters, not! actually I used to miss the taste of UK Cadbury's chocolate, it tastes different over here, got used to it now. cheers Jill.

I miss the build up of Christmas......the dark nights and lights, the office parties going from pub to pub up the same street, but then once Christmas day is over i love it here! As we have the summer still!!!!!!!!!!

Autumn, the colours of the leaves turning. Winter, those crisp sharp days with bright sunshine. A walk in the forest. The freshness of the air after rainfall. Rain. Bookshops. The great, British queue system - is something to be admired. It works, it's painless, and beats an elbow battling free-for-all any day!! Pork - in any shape or form:- chops, sausages, joints, bacon, ham. Especially the ham. Strump ...when were you in Dubai, do you miss it at all?? Karen x

Hiya Sal, Crikey. Where do I begin?lol. I miss ALL the food...not the 'Euro' stuff they have in pubs nowadays but the real, honest to goodness food. Steak & kidney pie, Bangers & mash, Lamb chops. What I miss most of all is the humour.I was home this summer and havn,t laughed so much in years.

Ive been here in Australia nearly 40 years but I would die for some Jersey New Potatoes and good old Yorkshire Fish and Chips. You do get used to the food after a while over here but there are some things that are not as good or you just can't get. Regards Jackie

Family.............................. Queues-not part of the Cypriot culture,just elbow your way in until you find a relative/friend! Half decent tv could have a sky dish, but the size we need here would cover the whole roof! not foodstuffs,apart from watercress strangely!

Cardiff on an International Day, freinds and family, but that is about all. I love New Zealand now and am even starting to get used to Christmas in summer after 6 years!
