I miss the history and beauty of the British countryside, but have since developed an equal love of Australia! What, if anything, do you miss? .....oh and Marmite and Persil! |

Autumn, the colours of the leaves turning. Winter, those crisp sharp days with bright sunshine. A walk in the forest. The freshness of the air after rainfall. Rain. Bookshops. The great, British queue system - is something to be admired. It works, it's painless, and beats an elbow battling free-for-all any day!! Pork - in any shape or form:- chops, sausages, joints, bacon, ham. Especially the ham. Strump ...when were you in Dubai, do you miss it at all?? Karen x |

Ive been here in Australia nearly 40 years but I would die for some Jersey New Potatoes and good old Yorkshire Fish and Chips. You do get used to the food after a while over here but there are some things that are not as good or you just can't get. Regards Jackie |

Family.............................. Queues-not part of the Cypriot culture, just elbow your way in until you find a relative/friend! Half decent tv could have a sky dish, but the size we need here would cover the whole roof! not foodstuffs, apart from watercress strangely! |
