QUOTE >a women had got a chimp cooking noodles!!!!!! You obviously missed the point the researcher was trying to study! Sue has been working with Kanze & Panbaneesha, her BONOBO apes...NOT chimps for 30 years. And she's discovered they are learning 'culture' by immersion. They're not trained to do tricks like the poor chimp who was owned by the guy in the film industry. They have learned by example and are capable of very complex communication via the electronic symbols board. The guys who was presenting the program was attempting to show that apes share many similarities with humans and was actually campaigning for them to have more recognised rights. XX Sioux |

Didn't watch it - the title put me off. Chimps AREN'T humans, they're chimps, and doubtless better left to be chimps. What on earth has happened to Horizon lately - dumbed down like everything else it seems! |
