I had a hige problem with all the books from Glos libraries, managed to get a copy of The Conjuror's bird from the next village, otherwise it was order and wait over a week for it, they take ages to come through. larkrise seemed to have long reserved waiting lists at every library she looked at, and the lovely bones was the same. I can't order it as they take so long so I will have to see what I can find in town. Ann Glos |

Doesn't look like Maz has seen this so I will send it back up. It wasn't that the library didn't have it but that the copies were all out and in two cases overdue and with waiting lists. I guess they must have been books chosen for other book reading groups. I might be able to get the classic in the main library gloucester when I go into town. I didn't want to order the books because if it takes a week or more as it has in the past I wont have time to read them anyway. Ann Glos |

I have started the Conjurors bird but have not managed to 'get into it' yet. Finding it a bit disjointed and, so far, not very gripping. Will persevere!! Haven't got the others yet. ann Glos |
