They've taken 2 of my handbags, an mp3 player, digital camera, mobile phone, daughters school bag and cash. Good job hubby heard them or I might not have been able to speak to you now! lol Jeanette x

Little Lost Report 10 Oct 2006 11:21

know that feeling well. After having an almost brand new mo-ped stolen from our back garden we then had to get another dog before we could even think about replacing it. And we also have an alarm on the shed. That went of at 4 am just before christmas. Stupid me went out in the dark with the dog but they had gone. They never got anything this time as everything is locked inside the shed as well. Each bike is locked to each other.

I'm fine thank you........but little one was very upset. I saw someone hanging around last night when I went to shut the front room blinds, but just dismissed it as the local youth being a pain in the butt! Fortunately we were insured. One of my handbags has turned up with all the cards in that I've just cancelled! lol. Just waiting to hear if the pen set that I bought my Dad for his 50th is still in it, cos as you know Dad died a few years ago and it's the sentimental stuff you can't replace

Yes we've had SOCO round Dee but they didn't find anything. Policeman has just called to let us know that a bag that sounds like Livvy's school bag has been found dumped round the corner. He's popping back in a minute to let us know

Jeanette, just seen this. I am so sorry to hear about the burglary. What a world we live in. I know you are covered by insurance but it is the violation of your home that is the worst thing isn't it? I do hope your Dad's pen is in the bag, but if they dumped it with the cards in it sounds like youngsters. have you worked out how they got in to prevent it happening again. Hope you are OK anyway. Jeanette I hope you are ok. I know how it feels. I have been burguled several times. Once they drugged my dog. The last time 2 years ago was like you 5.30 in the morning. They smashed the doubled glazed kitchen door, we were up in a flash but they still took my bag. They done to same to next door the previous week, took her car keys and pinched the car. I really do sympathise it horrible. Sue

The police have been round and Livvy's school bag has been found along with one of my handbags in a tenfoot not far from our house. My other handbag has been found in a pond a couple of miles away. They didn't take my cards but they did take the cash. Unfortunately they took my Dad's pens :-( My only hope of having them returned now is if they turn up in a search as they were engraved from me and my OH. There were several burglaries in the area last night and the police have managed to get a fingerprint from one of the houses. Is it just a coincidence that the Fair rolled into town last weekend? I don't think so!

Jeanette, It might be a good Idea ( in this day and age) to get an Alarm linked to Lights and a Laser Beam,Just High enough to let cats and dogs etc get under it but not others with ill intent. It may also lower your Insurance Premiums and give you a little peace of mind,I know it did us. I hope they catch the Toerags that did it and put them away for a long time. Hal.
