Mum had a brilliant sense of humour, and it’s the happy and fun stuff that’s getting us through at the moment, so I know she wouldn’t mind me sharing this with you. We had two carers in for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening, plus a district nurse calling daily. During the last few days, the nurse was a little puzzled by Mum’s skin still being a good, natural colour. I mentioned this to the carers and they agreed that it was quite unusual for someone so poorly. Then I realised that the carers were very gently and carefully washing Mum twice a day with Dove body wash – the one for ‘holiday skin’ with built-in ‘body glow’. Boy, did we all laugh about that, even Mum thought it was hilarious that she should look like she’d just been on her holidays! Mandy xx

Angela, they really were 'angels in blue'. Five of them, plus a hospice nurse and a district nurse, came to the funeral. Catherine, that's exactly it, she was really glowing lol!! Aww David, tell me, tell me, pleeeeeeeez ;)) Oh come on Lynda, don't follow David's lead, tell me!! Mandy x
