Double amount of vouchers are being given for shopping bought today and tomorrow. I'm off later to get stocked up and collect more vouchers before the finish of the promotion on Sunday. Gwyn |

Thank you so much, everyone. Just to clarify...... Although no more vouchers will be issued after Sunday, the schools have until January to send them in. Any spare ones that you still have would therefore still be most welcome. Gwyn |

I'm sure they'll be fine Dee.... Thank you again for helping. The redirection of mail will have to carry on for some time, I'd guess, when one thinks of how many firms, businesses, individuals a school contacts from all over the country. They won't all be aware of the fire until it is time for their own need to contact. Gwyn |

Thank you to all those who have collected and sent vouchers. I have just spoken to the school secretary and she says they have been intrigued by vouchers arriving from so many different parts of the country.... now she knows why and they are really grateful for your help. The office staff are working on the school site now so there is an updated address in the opening message. More vouchers would be most welcome and can be sent to:- Lympne Primary School, Ravenlea Road, Folkestone, Kent. CT20 2JU Many, many thanks for your continuing support. Gwyn |

If I get any vouchers, I'll forward them on. I know what it's like to lose your school to fire as my primary school burnt down when I was 10, Infant block was demolished as it was just a skellinton but junior block was saved by the fire brigade - I wish they had led the whole thing burn to a sinder as when they built the new infant block it was ad hoc and looks wrong and whole school is now too small. The school will soon bounce back and be as strong as ever, the kids will make sure of that dispite the tragady of loseing the school buildings. Lunar (p.s. My recollections and those of a child in infants are on Friends, our school was Hengoed Primary School) |

Thank you Dee. The school are so very grateful for all the help from GR friends. I passed the old school site on Sunday. They have started to demolish now..... Sad, but it means a step towards the new building. Gwyn |
