Psalm 104 v 24 TUESDAY: Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come before His presence with singing! Know and understand that the Lord is God. It is He who has made us and not we ourselves. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Psalm 100 v 1 - 4 WEDNESDAY: For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers or authorities. All things were created and exist through Him, and in and for Him. Colossians 1 v 16 THURSDAY: In freedom Christ has made us free. Stand fast then and do not be ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery - which you have once put off. Galatians 5 v 1 FRIDAY: For You, O Lord, have made me glad by Your work. In Him (Jesus) was life and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1 v 4 - 5 First post also updated Vonny

This is the messge that we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him is no darkness at all ...if we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowhsip with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin 1 John 1 vs 5 & 7

Week beginning 4th June. Theme: Light / Lamp SUNDAY: Thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119 v 105 Revised Standard Version MONDAY: The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27 v 1 - 2 RSV TUESDAY: You are like a light for the whole world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl; instead he puts it on a lampstand where it gives light for everyone in the house. In the same way your light must shine before people, so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven. Matthew 5 v 14 - 16 Good News Bible. WEDNESDAY: For You, O Lord, are my lamp; the Lord lightens my darkness. 2 Samuel 22 v 29 Amplified. THURSDAY: The people who live in darkness will see a great light. On those who live in the dark land of death a light will shine. Matthew 4 v 16 GNB FRIDAY: The eyes are like a lamp for the body. If your eyes are sound, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are no good your body will be in darkness. So, if the light in you is darkness, how terribly dark it will be! Matthew 6 v 22 - 23 SATURDAY: The God who said 'out of darkness the light shall shine' is the same God who made his light shine in our hearts, to bring us the knowledge of God's glory shining in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4 v 6

Not everyone who calls me Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only those who do what my Father in heaven wants them to do. St. Luke chpt. 13 v 21 Good News Bible

As friends and neighbours fellowship with one another, I recall this text from the '40 days of purpose' campaign on fellowship - that says 'So in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.' -------------- Romans 12:5 (NIV)

If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles v 14

Luke 10:25-37 The Parable of the Good Samaritan 25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. 'Teacher,' he asked, 'what must I do to inherit eternal life?' 26 'What is written in the Law?' he replied. 'How do you read it?' 27 He answered, ' 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind' []; and, 'Love your neighbour as yourself.'
