According to the theory, The next pope will be named Gloria Olivae (the Glory of the Olive. Nobody has worked out what that means yet.) The last pope will be 'Petrus Romanus' and he will lead his people through great tribulation in which the city of Rome will be destroyed So we have that to look forward to. Watch this space |

And apparently, the next pope will only reign for a month. |

The Pope before Pope John Paul 11 only held the position for a month. There is the conspiricy theory that he was murdered. He was also CREMATED immediately, instead of the usual burial in St. Peters. No cause of death was determined! Maybe the theory that you are talking about was about the Pope before John Paul 11? Deb |

Do you think the next Pope will be Greek (the Olive connection)? Just a thought. I remember reading something about the next Pope being French? I think it was a pophecy of Nostadamus, but I could be wrong. Deb |

Pope John Paul I was not cremated, he was buried just like his predecessors. He was embalmed with unseemly haste though - and I have an open mind over whether he was done away with. He was, so the stories go but whether they are correct or not who knows, determined to clean up the Vatican's act with regards to financial misdealing. Christina |

An elderly friend has told me that she read something, don't know whether it was Nostradamus, that the next pope will be the last. End of the world or something, she believes. M. |

Yes, I remember the last Pope dying. After all the time choosing him - I remember a strict RC friend telling me it had taken that long but he would be Gods choice - and then he died only a month later. I asked said friend what he thought of that and he said God must have decided he wasnt the right choice after all. Hmm. |

Pink, I guess the 'Holy' Vatican city would be left standing. By the way, that wall is ***** steep by the way, I dragged myself along a small part of it 5 years back! |

Nostradamus's prophesys ! I have never read them. I would love to, have any of you read them? Deanna |

Hi Deanna, i have read a few of the prophecy's but i found them a bit hard to understand and in each book you will read you only get the authors slant on the quatrains but its still a very interesting subject, a lot of authors thought the world would end in 1999 with a third world war good job that didnt come true.lol. Maybe that was only the beginning of the end Tina. I must try to find it, I really would like to read it. I suppose too , that its the type of book you could pick up and lay down, and still keep up with it. Is it? Deanna |

Deanna, i think it all depends on what authors have written the books, some are interesting some are boring but i have read quite a lot of different ones and i dont know wether this says a lot about me or the subject but i can hardly remember any of it. lol. why not try your local library they will have a few books on the subject and if you find its not to your taste it will not have cost you anything.
