Heard this question when, for some reason, I was watching an episode of Countdown, but no terrible Richard Whitley jokes on here please. My one at the moment is: RAMIFICATIONS. Saw it the other day and it's stuck in my mind. Branch out and tell us yours. |

lol... er Wendy, Rufonitnitus is a word my dad made up when us kids were little, to explain any illness we had... he used to say.. 'oh its definatley a case of rufoninitus'... still makes me smile to think of it :)) Insolistical, well,.... it means, with prejudice and spite. |

Nincompoop - but only because my grandchildren were telling me about someone who was being horrible to them and they couldn't understand why. I told them it was just because the person was a nincompoop and they both fell about laughing. They often say it to me now .....'He/she's a nincompoop eh Nan'. LOL. Jan :-))) |

My favourite word is really a name. My two and a half year old daughter met her newborn baby sister Elizabeth for the first time and couldn't say the name so her version was 'Lizziebud'. I love it, it makes me smile. Louise |

My favourite word is Autumnal. It just trips of the tongue. I went into work one day and my boss (then) a well know Oncologist in a London Hospital said ``Good morning Marianne it is very Autumnal today isn`t it?`` Played intelligent and said ``yes...very.`` Never heard of the word before (it was a long time ago) but ever since I use the word whenever I can (much to the other halfs amusement). Shame its nearly spring. Love and peace Marianne. |
