Sniffing......my neighbours arguing on a Saturday night......motorbike being revved up outside my window.....car alarms....people talking loudly in shops and buses.....' Last Orders PLEASE' in pubs. !! BC

Christine, Is it a low frequency sound? I have tinnitus, and am also a bit deaf, BUT I can 'feel' the police or RAF helicopter even when its miles away.......... Bob

Bob, You would have been useful in WWII as you could have heard the German bombers coming over. As I child I always asked my father 'are they ours' and he would say 'yes'. I knew he was trying to calm me when I heard the bombs drop. Sylvia xxx

Agree with you Eunice, imagine not being able to hear all those lovely sounds as well as the annoying ones. I just love bird singing (not that I hear many in London these days). Marianne.

Isn't it strange that I don't mind being woken up by the blackbirds singing, but the alarm clock - that's another story, terrible noise! Sylvia xxx
