I used to love sweet tobacco, and my favourite purchase from the school tuck shop was burtond potato puffs - can't find either of them now.

American jelly beans, proper ones not Jelly Bellys. They are big and fruity, well except for the spearmint and licorice ones. LOL Any friends or family that go to the USA know they HAVE to bring me some back! Carol - I'll swap some sherbet lemons for some real jellybeans LOL Sue xx

Thanks to all those yummy sweets..... I love sherbet lemons and flying saucers too, my kids love them too... I also havent seen rocky bars which were chocolate bars with little bits of puff candy in them.... Delicious ..... Mhairi

Debbie and Deanna, Thanks for that. Mum said her Tesco no longer had them in stock. I told her to have a 'quiet' word with the manager. Lol. Also told her, no sherbert lemons, no trip to Disney. Lol

Carol I have just seen sherbit lemons, in Tesco's. they are my all time favourites as well. And Lemonade dippers that havn't been about for about 4 years now.

Humbugs, yummm. Carol, your mum should be able to get sherbett lemons no bother. My son still byes them. Enjoy them when they get there. Deanna BUYS them........even. LOL

I recently bought some sugar free mintoes in Julian Graves.The taste was spot on but they were hard so not quite the Nuttal's Mintoes of my youth.A bit yummy though anyway.

My all-time favourite are Sherbert Lemons. My Mum promised to bring me a case full this summer but she can,t seem to find them. Please don,t tell me they don,t make them anymore!!!

Loved Lucky Tatties....a cinammon flavoured sweet. You can still get them in a wee shop in Pittenweem, that sells all the old sweeties! Christine
