Sorry Harry not trying to ambush your thread but just had to agree with Ros as it made me laugh hubby just went to golf and before he went he said' I've emptied the dishwasher for you'. and getting back to your question my son who lives in a room that looks like a tip (Rubbish dump ) is quite adamant about dishclothes and teatowels being germy but its him who wipes his hands and face on them and then doesn't rinse and hang them like they advise you to do, and one time I was staying at my daughters when her m/i/law picks up dish cloth wipes grandsons face with it and then sees when she sat him on kitchen bench she had put dirt /mud on it from his shoe she wiped that up with the dishcloth and then put it back on the sink omg I nearly died I had to wait till she left the room and quickly throw it in the bin and replace it and say nothing Lara |

Thanks to you all for your interest. Seems that not everyone is perfect. some of those slobby crimes mentioned, will admit to having done them - just the once. Susan makes an excellent point about the old days. Germs never bothered us then- I remember flies and fly papers being everywhere. happy days |
