	Have been in all morning waiting for a furniture delivery from Laura Ashley. Just had a phone call from the man on the lorry - 'Oooh good', I say 'are you outside?' 'Yes' he replied, 'but your goods aren't on the lorry, I'll have to get Customer Services to ring you to arrange another date!' Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

I've just had a carpet fitted and the fitter was telling me that he had bought a carpet and stored it at the showroom until his ordered furniture arrived (expected in a few weeks) the show room then asked if they could use his carpet as a customer had requested it and it was temporarily out of stock....he said yes ok, furniture not due for a couple of weeks.......guess what arrived this morning......
