Ye a calla lily in a pot my oh didn't tell me he'd brought. It stood outside in all the snow and frost and has flowered well.

Oh Dear OH just brought out a bag of sand from garage yesterday and growing through it were Dahlias from last year we had forgotten about them ..... well planted in garden now so we will see what we will see ....if anything :-D

I may well have more plants to id but haven't done too badly without my trusty books.

The yellow Lysimachia punctata - a type of loosestrife. I am not good on herbs and the internet here is so slow at the moment I had difficulty downloading some of the images

I do deadhead Buddlejia if I notice them, otherwise I leave it until Feb and prune hard

The one with broad leaves that was in with the coriander looks very much like a Geum leaf but can't see how it can be

I thought the broader leaved ones looked like one of our hop leaves!!! which is definitely wrong. But I viewing the last four was a real problem. Will complain to BT if this continues.

Just up a stepladder this morning threading the two 3year old wisteria along wires we put up on the front of the sheds and pruning back the spare shoots. Amazing that they cover about 30 ft in such a short time! If I take my eyes of them for too long I think they will get away from me :-D

Should also say the sweetcorn although not ready to eat yet are over 7ft high. I think they are Lark - the same variety I grew last year but I don't remember them being this big.

Kay is spot on with Lysimachia punctata / Loosestrife.
We had no idea what it is but it has been interesting watching it come up, starting with some swirly growth. It's obviously happy where it is in a shady side of the garden and brightens it up very well. It can stay!
The herbs may remain a mystery until and if, they flower. I had meticulously labelled everything else but had put these last seeds in hurriedly 'before it was too late'. Both came from those large mixed packs - something of a con as the small packets inside are not necessarily what is stated on the outside! One of the herbs should have been Mustard Greens - the round leaf? But now the new leaves on that have points, like fat star shapes!
The other herb could be tarragon Ann, I'll have to have another taste and see if it is aniseed flavour. I'm also wondering if it might be Hyssop? Then again, the pack also claimed to contain chilli seeds!
I shall keep you both posted :-D

Well it doesn'y look like Chilis Island, Could well be hyssop I suppose.

Ooh Island, meant to say I have never heard of a herb called Mustard Greens - the round leaf, shall have to look that one up.

I don't think I'm going to have any either!

Watch it with the Mustard Greens. We do grow mixed salads including spicy mixes. The hot mustardy ones take you by surprise and not always in a good way :-D
