I am engrossed in scrap booking at the moment. bringing the Great Grandchildrens' books up to date. Nearly finished Adam's, Luke's was done last week. And now have to think about photos for Inara's. That will use more ink up I suppose. :-D

Good to see you posting Jean. I must say I forget to check until I get an email reminder. Been making Mothers Day and Easter too but they are slow to sell. Cypriots' don't send cards so rely onlcal Brits and holiday makers when the season starts. Spring is definitely here today and we've been out for a run in the car. Good to get out and about again and feel a little sun on our faces. Take care xxx

Cant believe this thread has slipped down , not many crafters on here so I suppose it will move down. I have been busy sorting out all my old stuff so the local school can have it, but I still have more craft stuff given to me,I did say i was trying to cut down, but it falls on deaf ears ;-) ;-)

I have been doing more bags and mothers day cards along with Easter ones, selling very well so the tenants fund is doing well ;-) ;-) ;-)
I have cut 6x6 card blanks so just need to buy envelopes and cello bags.....
Having crafts to make is a life saver to me, although it is getting harder to do mainly die cutting, but I will carry on as long as I can....

so keep crafting whatever you preference is and enjoy....

Hi everyone, I have just made six decorated gift bags, using some of H/D inserts as the backing added some flowers I have already made, leaves, some glitter( stickles,)
sentiments, bows, and they look good , one is an Easter one with decoupage daffs and flowers , looks very nice,I also made one with a big mandella on it was one I coloured out of an Adult colouring book, I have done lots of glitter and added some small pretty buttons, it looks very elaborate, might do for a teenager , one could add a big Easter egg in it.....I had better do some Easter cards now......

Hi I have lost count of the number of rodent ulcers (basal cell carcinoma) I have had removed one way or another. Cut, frozen cutilage and cauterized but always at dermatology. This one is different not suspicious at all just needs removing before I knock it.

Happy New Year folks.
Ann I have a spellbinder's brush tool to get all the small bits out of the dies.....great little tool.
I've had weird moles taken off too Ann but doc used a spray and froze it.....then it just dropped off after about 10 days. Might be something similar.
The dies from China that were mentioned earlier which site was this from please? They sounded cheap but good!!
Been busy making two Pop and Twis cards for a customer. Bit stuck with one as she just said Grand daughter at college ....no other interests....no idea what I'll put on this one. I wish I knew scratching my head at the moment :-D
Keep in touch xxx

I did do a small amount of die cutting the other day with the little Saphire, the dies were £1.99 each from The range, Just small circle types but quite pretty. They cut very well but even with wax paper the bits still stuck in. So now I have several small die cut circles and not yet sure what to do with them.

I have made cards with all of the deco prints that you sent me and am very pleased with all of them.

I have just come back from my lovely doctor. He is so nice, almost a pleasure going to see him. He looked at the wierd thing on my arm very thoroughly and says it is nothing to worry about but shouldn't be there. It is apparently a collection of a type of blood vessels (which is why it bled so much when I caught it) and does need to 'come off'. So I was envisaging yet another dermatology visit, but he said no, he does these himself. On a tuesday morning with a nurse, they will send me a letter. His words "I will just nip it off and cauterize it" Nice!!!! :-D :-D

I am just about to make my ninth card today from old birthday cards for one of the charities. Quite relaxing not having to think too much. I will soon have 20 for her.

You will get used to the laptop I'm sure. Although Mo has gone back to her old one Lol!!

Hi Ann,I buy white giftbags and decorate the front and add a tab the note books have a slot for the pad and I add a stamp holder fasten the book with ribbon. dont always add pencils, most folk prefer to use their own pens...when I finally sort out all the changes on this new laptop I will try and sort out some pics and send them to you, but dont hold your breath ;-) ;-)I have just made some sympathy cards, for here....I want to do some die cutting but always get sidetracked :-D :-D :-D

AnninGlos Report 8 Jan 2017 21:56

Thanks for rescuing us. Gosh you have been busy, did you decorate the pens as well as the note books and just decorate the front of the notebooks? Then how are they put together for selling? And do you actually make the gift bags or decorate bought plain ones?

JustJean

JustJean Report 8 Jan 2017 21:34

Thought I would bump up this thread, now I am back on line still busy doing the cards ,although the gift bags I decorated went very well so I have been asked to do some some more all the christmas ones went and so I am doing spring and summer ones...I made note book and pen sets also, they seemed popular.....since I had so much card stock given me I make my own card blanks, time consuming but I now only have to buy envelopes and cello bags.....happy crafting.love jean

Thanks Jean I will have a look. The only craft shop I go to these days is Hobbycraft and they don't seem to stock as much for papercrafts these days, it is more knitting, crochet and jewellery making.

Hi win, I use the red tape quite a lot , Ann if you have a look on e-bay for red glue tape there are loads of offers, the tape ie exra sicky so is useful fo making items stick fast,
I got a loads off create ncraft so I would think the craft shops you go to will stock it..
or use a glue gun, that is very good and quick.
