Come on then, IGP, is it on or off?

I have threads I'm watching, but have never had an email telling me they have been added to.
Not a prob for me. If I'm on the site, I check regularly if there's been any new posts. And when I log on each session, I always check 'watched threads' and 'my threads' first.

I remember initially, when the new system began, receiving email notifications but haven't done so for quite a long time now; in fact, I had forgotten about them ;-)

Following email has just been sent to Support





The facility to receive an email when there has been postings on one of your “Watched Treads” does not seem to work. By way of example, I set a Watch on the following thread just prior to 27 Sep 2011 18:26 To date I have not received any notification that there have been further postings on the thread.

Hi everyone, this email has been temporarily turned off. As you know, a while ago we had performance issues with the site. We stopped this email being sent until we're sure that members are longer having problems navigating the site and seeing error messages.
