Hi,
I am trying to confirm a connection in my family tree.

It seems that I am related to Augustus Aarons born c1858 Spittalfields, London (his daughter was Rachel Aarons born c 1878 and married to Henry Wilson born c1870).

Was Augustus' father Angel Aarons b 1830 and mother Sarah Mendoza b 1833?

If you can help me it would be amazing.

thank you. The family tree I have been looking into, which shows Angel Aarons as Augustus Aarons' father, also shows another Angel Aarons born c 1825 in Spittalfields married to a Sarah Mendoza.
I think this is the Angel you have found. So you are right that he can't be Augustus' father, but he may still possibly be related.

Looks like you'll have to buy the birth cert to be 100% sure, in view of Margaret's discovery on the 1881 census, but I suspect Angel is possibly an uncle or other relative. Augustus is described as son to Henry in 1861, whereas no relationship is stated to Angel.

Elizabeth is born Germany on census 1901 & 1911.

5 Sandys Row appears to be a house of multiple occupancy in 1881, there are other households there apart from Angel's household and Augustus's household.

Angel and Sarah appear to be childless in census 1871 as well. Certainly no sign of Augustus:
