Had a look at some of the trees that have Augustus as son of Angel Aarons..
Now some have him as son of Angel and Sarah, but some have him as son of Angel and ABIGAIL.
The latter concern me more, as we only have the one census instance of Augustus with HENRY and Abigail, so maybe this could be an Angel using a second forename or picking an anglicised one.
Found this potential marriage:
Marriages Sep 1852 (>99%) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- >>>>Aarons Angel St Luke 1b 778 BARNETT Abraham St Luke 1b 778 COHEN Eve St. Luke 1b 778 >>>>MENDOZA Abigail St Luke 1b 778
Some of the trees have Aaron dying in 1862. This obviously isn't true of the Angel married to Sarah, who is still alive in census 1881, and the only record of an Aarons I can find dying in the London area in 1862 is a Samuel Aarons.
However I did find a lady called Abigail Smith in census 1881 who had a much younger husband, but also a son and grandson called Aarons. It might just be co-incidence, but I think the only way Karen can be certain of Augustus's parentage is to buy that birth cert.
This Abigail Smith is also a dress maker, like Abigail Aarons in 1861. (However dressmaking is not an uncommon occupation for women).
