that is a possibility never thougt of that to be honest i was working on the 1881 census where she is stated as henrys step daughter

i have tried that but maybe a fresh set of eyes may see somethinhg i missed also JOHN WILLIAM MILLTHORPE BLAND must have died between 1894 & 1907 as i have ANNIE ELIZA BLAND marrying again in 1907 to JOHN RENNISON TODD on that cert she is 37 & a widower & father still THOMAS PECKITT but on both marriage certs for ANNIE E one of the witnesses is the same on both he was either JOHN or TOM DENNISON not sure who he is tho never come across him connected with the tree

Annie's last marriage.... The Rennison middle name and the Dennison surname of the witness... a little coincidental?

Is the cert typed or rewritten? or is it a copy of the original?

Could the middle name of the male actually be Dennison? or could the witness actually be a Rennison?

Just a little to close for comfort there....

i did see that one but tried to find a croser who married a elizabeth hewitt & could.t find one then tried to find elizabeth hewitt to ?????? & then ????? to a croser but still could.t find a connection

bet the old rellies up there are having a right good laugh at us lot down here trying to sort out there mess lol

it a copy of the original one & written but its defo a d & not a r the more i look at it i think its tom dennison on the 2nd marraige cert hes a witness he is also joined as a witness with a margaret elizabeth dennison & that is a d also it very plain

It is quite possible his name was missed off the list... it does happen.

It's a shame they are between census's

You might have to order *another* cert lol...

Well it's a gamble, but you either need the marriage with the missing man...or the better option is Annie's birth cert.

Annie's birth cert will give you ALL of Elizabeth's former names...

It maybe she never offically married Thomas.... she just said she was!

the missing man on the 1864 marraige page is EDWARD CROSSLEY just found it on the yorkshire bmd page wil check that out
