TW i told the whole site i reported her

The implication in your statement is that you would advise that you were reporting contemporaneously. Along the lines of "I have reported that post" or some such.

In this case there was nothing other than a statement AFTER the ban was announced. Now, due to the fact that this was as a result of language used in a pm, it was pretty obvious who had done the report and so the statement was made.

But please, let's not get started about comments made in pms or we'll be here all day.
