Mine is my gg grandfather. Master Mariner C1856, Have him in 1861,1871,1901. Marriage in 1882.. 3 years after the birth of his first three children. Found in 1901... gone away again in 1911. Presumed at sea in missing areas. Can not find the birth of any of his children. |

Were the children born in this country? Only, I have a mariner - I took years to find him - and his first child was born in Ireland. I assume this is also why I can't find his first marriage. |

According to all the info I have the children were born in Bishopstone,Salisbury. He was born in Southampton from a seafaring family. He married in Cardiff in 1882. Was in Litherland,Liverpool by 1901 and the family settled there. |

Can't find a death for John Henry Richens yet. It's tough with all the difference spellings. It could be Annie and Henry had to run away to Liverpool because they were both still married. |
