Now heres an interesting thought - will we have any judges on X Factor tonight - Louis could well fly out to Mallorca being Boyz Owns Manager and I think Danni should be sacked with immeadiate effect.

If that was to happen who do you think should step in as the extra two judges?

Oh dear, hadn't thought of that

well, Duncan from *Blue*... he is judging on a Grease talent thingy, with kids of school age.... he is rather good.

And Martine McCutcheon... I saw her judging a talent thingy once, and she was excellent, I thought.... very straight, honest, and knowledgeable... her critique style was constructive, not destructive.

Lulu was also very very good on one series, too.

OMG/...... please don't bring Hoff, Piers or blinking Sharon back... that's too much even for me... I wouldn't be able to watch, not even for Simon!

*frets*

I dont think Danni should be sacked at all, she made a fly by night comment no doubt its all over the papers today she has given the bloke more public sympthey (sp) than he could wish for as for Louis flying out to spain there is nothing he can do now that he can do after the show then fly out to spain.

I think Louis will fly out after the show tonight, and Dannii ill not be sacked, she probably feels really stupid this morning for saying it.
However if we were to replace them I would like to see Robbie Williams and Amy Whitehouse, that would be interesting

Maddiecow Report 11 Oct 2009 11:25

Love the Idea of Amy and Robbie - I don’t think Will could do it as he was already helped pick a team so could be conceived as Biased, although I think he would do a good job.

Danni feeling silly today is a bit like shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted - She was irresponsible and deeply offensive on live TV. J Ross had a ban for three months and his partner in crime resigned - no less should happen to Danni if the show wants to keep what little integrity it has left.

Maddie what Danni said was nothing to compared to what JRoss and that dipstick side kick did, she didnt even insult him, she passed a comment it had been all over the papers yesterday, a silly comment it was and all, Now Simon Cowell has made a career out of insulting people and its made him a millionaire.

I think to be honest there will be a public apology made tonight, in light of all the complaints made to ITV following her comment. First of all from Simon, although he put Danni down right away, because it's his show, and from Danni.
Other than that, I really don't think any further action is needed. After all, they've done him a big favour, and increased his votes to stay, not that he couldn't have done it by himself through his singing, I thought he was really good anyway.
As for Simon Cowell insulting people. Yes it comes across as insulting, but if you listen to what he's actually saying, he's rarely wrong. He knows his business, and it's a harsh business. It's no good wrapping people up in cotton wool if they are ever going to make something of themselves.

While I think Danni was out of order with her comment I don't think she should be sacked. However, I do think she should make an apology on the show tonight, which she may well do.

It's not what she said it's the smug way she said it to belittle him IMO. The guy is on stage in front of millions of people, I'd have been upset and humiliated too. Not because of the sexuality part but simply because it was designed to HURT!!!!

AS for a replacement, pass - find someone who genuinely wants to help an aspiring singer and not a judge who just wishes to maintain a public profile!

None of the judges are that interested in the acts none of them will go on to better things 2 winners have done so, thats it out of how many the whole thing is a circus and like Teresa said the world of show business is a wicked and tough one, I think this show is well pasted its SBD, I would like to something differant a group that can play make their own music or a singer song writer their own style..

Wow a lot of comments I didnt expect so many!

Whilst I respect everyones opinions and I certainly have no problem with people disagreeing with me on a thread, its intersting to hear and consider other points of views. I do think watching again (the joys of catch up TV and the sad housewife whilst hubby is away doing a show) that her comment was premeditated.

You can see it already planned out and shes bursting to let rip, thats not a slip of the tongue and even though I wont be voting for Daryl - it hasnt swayed me in that regard at all, I felt it was tastless and offensive for that show (I know thats saying something) and I think even though it was on late it has a very young audience too and and some parents had a lot of explaining to do that was unnecessary. At the end of the day it should have been about his ability to perform and sing and nothing else.

Who would I consider to judge, now thats a toughie I hadnt considered, I also like Will, but think Tom Jones would be good or what about Annie Lennox?

Right off to catch up with the h***w*** and going to watch that Grease thing from yesterday while I iron.

Added

PS I dont know who should Win my Fav was Nicole but she was knocked out in the last round, I think Jamie did fantastic Kings of Leon - but he hasnt performed so well since.

I like Stacie cos shes mad and the boy with the scary eyebrows, Miss Frank could go far, but I am not sure that Simons Book Ends comments wont undermine the two weaker singers and they are trying very hard to perform as a group. That was a low blow.
