I am NOT going to put the pumpkin lantern in the porch this year as ours got STOLEN once by some little people.

Oh God, I am a right miserable cow and would rather sit here with all the lights off ( I don't & do give sweets out) but my 6 year wants to do trick and treat this year, what do people do , do you just knock round at people you know? We were never allowed to do this as kids so I have'nt got a clue. Help....

The kids that knock on our door are strangers to us (they're not allowed to play out, normally).

Most of the little ones have parents in the background.

I give them all a sweet or two. Some of the kids look at me a bit doubfully as I dress up too.

I think you'd get a bit bored hereabouts; the kids knock on the doors over a four hour shift!

I think they're that excited at actually being allowed out they 'do' us all twice!

I had a letter come through the door on saturday from a couple who live round the corner saying that their children and childrens friends would lke to trick or treat on halloween and would I let them know if it was OK if they called on me, apparently everyone got the same letter.
