Please help its looks awful!!! I usually wipe it over with one of those clear antibac sprays in the week and at the weekend give it a good going over with Fl*sh.

Today whilst shopping, C*llet B*ng was on offer so I thought I would give it a try. Was fine as I washed all the cupboard doors down and then I started on the fridge.

The phone rang and I thought I was due a glass of wine, a smoke and a natter after all my hard work. When I got off the phone my fridge had pink sploges almost dyed into it - I've even tried neat bleach and cant get them off!!

THat stuff is EVIL

Every printed number on my washing machine and oven were wiped out when i used that........I have to guess what temperature my oven is on by memory.(got a new washing machine this week so I don't have to worry with the new one)

I don't know the answer to the pinkness but that stuff should contain a warning......

I did something simular Maddiecow,
i was wiping my kitchen worktop down
i sprayed some C*llet B*ng on it started to wipe
it over and someone rang my front door bell
when i came back it had taken all the shine out of it
so now i have a very dull patch on my worktop
and it stands out like a sore thumb ..

Are you sure you were supposed to be using it on the fridge? I think it tells you what you should or shouldn't be using it on...

If neat bleach won't remove it, I don't know what will TBH.

Great :(

Looks like a Giant fridge magnet then anyone know I can get a magnetic Wipe board? Maybe I could put a big one of those on it.

Hiya Maddie,
Wow, sounds like horrible dangerous stuff. I reckon I'll take that as a warning not to buy it..

Maddie,

Try a gentle rub with a little ,Cream cleaner like Cif thats griity,,,it may dull it,but a good wash over and polish should bring the shine back,,if it dont take it all out it may take edge away,

that CB took all the skin off my hands,!!,,,,,its horrible stuff, and it didnt make any difference anyway,,,,,rather use bit of elbow grease,,,,

I could be wrong but on changing rooms or a prog like that someone once painted a fridge using special paint........may be worth looking into.......xx

Thanks Kay, I dont have any of that but I get your drift, maybe if I wet a dishwasher tablet and try rubbing that in it may have the same effect.

I nearly bought some the other day but after reading the back of the bottle gave it a miss.I had a mishap with some product that I cleaned the chrome surrounding my shower cubicle and it has stripped the chrome.I think it might have been Viakal.I didn't read the instructions!!!!

Eeeek Kitty, I read the link - thats a disaster waiting to happen for me. I have just remembered in my stash upstairs I have a magnetic jigsaw puzzle(have been getting xmas presents thought the year and stashing in the spare room). I think the quick solution is sit in front of the fridge tomorrow and do puzzle I bought for a neice.

Hi Maddie,is there a customer helpline on the product? If you can't get any sense out of that, try writing to head office with your complaint.

You never know, you may get a new fridge.

A good wipe with bicarb is all your white goods need, cleans, deoderises and disinfects all in one.

My evenings getting worse!!! My laptop wire just caught a candle on a side table and I now have wax down a leather magazine rack!! Ok I think I know this one leave it to set hard then pick off I hope!!

If not I can turn the magazine rack round lol!

I’ve just read the destructions on the C*llet B*ang - do not use on acid sensitive surfaces .....errrrr aren’t all surfaces well most house hold surfaces sensitive to acid?
