After seeing Christmas already mentioned in the shops, has anyone started to prepare for Christmas?

Hi SRS...I went out shopping yesterday, not for Christmas..but I did bring home a bottle of 'posh' ginger beer ( in the Sale in 'Past Times' they have some lovely Christmassy things in there and in the sale lots of un-necessary but beautiful perfume bottles, photo frames , fancy cushions etc lol) ) and some chocolates to put away as 'treats' ... try and do that as and when I see things .

But I used to be more organised and often bought cards and pressies in January sales lol... will have to get a move on!

*bounces up and down on thread*

Yes yes yes... I have started... started looking forward to it in June, lolol.... have bought some prezzies for the granddaughters... now have two extra kiddies to buy for, lol... Son and his *friend* have declared themselves an item, by just telling me that they can't make Christmas, but will New Year be ok... and that means I have a 5 year old boy (bliss, lol) and an 11 year old girl as well as my 3 and 4 year olds.... that gives me sooooo much excuse to play in the toy and clothing departments, lolol

My cards are all ready to be written in... I have some lights up already (Diwali last week) and hubby has been given the 3 minute warning of loft invasion..... yeh!!

This year is going to be the best Christmas ever.

Of course, I shall not put a single decoration up until Dec 1st..... or maybe end of Nov cos littlie will be staying, and it is a long time since I decorated a tree with the help of a littlie.

*sighs happily*

Lol Marion... can't help it!! Last year was very quiet for us, no family or friends... most had someone with a cold or flu, so weren't able to visit, so it was just the two of us, when we had been planning on a big Christmas.

So this year, we shall be making up for it... my older son and his little one will be with us, hopefully, and it looks like a couple of my siblings may be here, too.... I love Christmas!!

I love Christmas, always have. Bought most of the small presents through the year, older boys always have cash so that is easy. Just sister's and OH's to get now really. Cards all made and ready for writing. Decs will go up beginning of December but I think we may now be at son's for the actual Christmas.
