The Judge wanted to send out a message to society to say this behaviour is unacceptable, so he let her off.??...........not exactly a deterrent as such is it. |

Apparently, they found foot prints in the milk powder on the floor, from one of the toddlers, they'd tried to eat the powder as they were hungry. |

But did you see the state of the house? If relatives lived near enough to be worried then, why had they not done something before, the house didn't get like that overnight. It might well be that she was suffering from depression and sunk so low in it she couldn't cope but you would think somebody might have noticed before it got to that point. I believe the children are in the care of Grandparents now. And she got a suspended sentence. |

I agree Joan,,,.,what a flamin joke....how can society protect kids from scum like her when they let em walk.............The judge should have put the cherry on the top and sent her to Barbados to have a "holiday". |
