Has anyone had their eyebrows professionally plucked. I have just made an appointment locally to have this done the week before Christmas, so that I do not look like a Russian shot putter, so to speak.LOLOL

*puts specs on to see who I'm talking to*

Oh hello JULIAAAA

I've not had this done, though I have plucked them myself years ago and it flippin' hurts! Put me off and I've never had it done since. But they do say having them waxed hurts less, and lasts longer.

I have had mine waxed but for some reason the right side always hurts and the left does not dont know why lol

I have mine waxed first, and then they pluck out the strays.
The waxing doesn't really hurt too much but the plucking has me fidgeting and yelping a little bit.

I've had mine waxed and I was very pleased with the result.

I have fair hair and didn't think it mattered before but I was going to a wedding and having 'proper' make up done. I was amazed at the difference.

I'm going to get them done again soon.

TeresaW, you have just reminded me of something. Years ago, about 45 years to be exact, I was going to a works 'do' with OH. I put some Veet O on my eyebrows, as I was ironing my outfit, and forgot about it. When I wiped it off, all me eyebrows came off. Saving grace was that I wore and still do, glasses, do I drew some eyebrowes in and put the specs. on
What a laugh.

I just started having mine done Julia.Just a tidy and thinned a little. Not plucked within an inch of my life lol. It's fine ,I have quite straight eyebrows and have never reaally done anything with them.Since I have had them done It makes me look a bit less frowny. If you get my meaning.
My daughter has hers waxed.I find the plucking quite relaxing as it feels like gentle nibbling. It doesn't hurt at all.
Just think how bootiful you will look.

same as unsub, and also I get my hairdresser to pluck out any strays (sorry Stray lol) and inspect my chin (horrid to be getting old innit?!)
several friends (including hairdresser) have them threaded, where they wind cotton round and pull them out that way - I don't fancy that much though lol

I draw the line in having me chin done in public, I do it meself. Boy oh boy, it does hurt sometimes, and me tash. I am a very dark haired person. But funnily enough, I have never had to shave my legs.

Now I do have to shave my legs, they are as hairy as a man's legs, and the pits.

But I draw the line at having other bits done....noooooooo *crosses legs*

"cant hurt taht much if they keep going back for more " - you've obviously never been waxed Stray - it hurts like hell, but you still go back !!!
TW cheeky! I haven't got a hairy chin, they get plucked out pdq either by me or the hairdresser! trouble is that as a v short-sighted AND long-sighted specs wearer, it's sometimes really difficult to see where they are!
a friend of my mum has a horrid 'beard' - I can't understand how her daughter can just leave her like it, I used to attack my mum at the first sight of a whisker lol
