i had mine this morning with the Butler
and its nothing i never even felt a thing
and you just dont have the risk of having swine flu
so well worth it
they said the only side affect is
we might get a swollen arm
but so far nothing at all

When I had mine I did have a junior trainee doctor administer it and it hurt more than the winter flu jab...lol

Naproxen sorted the pain the next day :-))

BTW If you have osteo arthritis you are included in the high risk category and should be offered the Swine Flu jab in the first mail out.

But it will protect against the new strain that has hit 5 people in Wales.
Corect me if i picked up the news wrong this am.

I'm not in the at risk group so would be last to get it....if i do.

Marion

JoyBoroAngel

JoyBoroAngel Report 21 Nov 2009 14:49

yes Marion
it will or that's what we were told today
the new strain is a mutation of the strain included
so you would have some protection against the mutated one

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 21 Nov 2009 14:52

This new strain that is resistant to tamiflu in cardiff appears to have so far only affected people in hospital with an immunity problem.

Poor baby Satan lol.
One of mine had a fear of Dr too. No idea why. At the school medical he was a litle devil. Made me feel quilty...I'd done nothing lol.

I had to take my other grandson for his jag before school. We didnt tell him, told him it was his brother who had to be seen,as long as we could get away with it. He then sussed it out and asked if he had to get a jag. I said I didnt know(liar) lol But if he did he had to just say chocolate over and over as he was getting it.
.If he was brave and didnt cry, he would get taken to tesco to choose the biggest bar we could find.

Well it worked a treat and he got his big bar.
With his Dad it was a starwars figure lol

aw marion i hate it, i couldnt bare to pin him down, i jst stand staring out the window crying, why they wrestle him :(

its funny coz hes been ok with most of his needles then one day just decided he hates doctors dentists, and even refuses to go the hairdressers :(

so i cut his hair, the dentist has to look while he has his mouth open screaming :(
