years ago i nearly died through taking penicillin
my head swelled so much my face cracked in several places
and my tongue blocked my air ways
but i was saved seconds from a tracheotomy
by massive injections of adrenaline
i was on steroids for 7 and a half months
but this was an extreme case

i do hope the little one gets well soon

Hope you all don't mind me saying my pennyworth. When one of my grandsons was a toddler,he sometimes had an asthma attack after a sleepover at my house.

After investigation,we found that he was allergic to talc, even though I only used baby brand. He is also affected by "shake and vac".

The point is, that even what we may think of innocent products, can cause allergic reactions.

Hope you daughter is better soon, love Nina from sunny Sheffield

I hope that the little one is feeling better today, My grandson (also aged 3) came home from his other grandmother's with a bright red face, and it turned out that his aunt had washed his face and hands with baby soap.

Oops hi ladies, sorry hadnt realised I had more replies. Thankyou for thinking of my little one. We presume it was the bubble bath as she didnt eat anything unusual, but cant think of what else it could be. Yes, shes actually 70% better thank goodness, its taken a while but shes getting there. Im so glad (well obviously I would be but you know what I mean), she was itching from head to toe and her temperature was sky high.....but tonight shes so much better and has been happy :-)
Thanks for your kind thoughts ladies, sleep well.
