why cant he have one?

Uggers

Uggers Report 13 Dec 2009 16:14

Ohhhh we've had this in our family:)))

Yes, I would - if the parents were happy about it. I don't think it makes much difference to how a child behaves or feels whether they're allowed stuff associated with the other sex or not. Most of the time they grow out of it or learn that other kids don't think it's right when they're at school. But I think if it makes a kid happy, what does it matter and I don't like all this boys should have this and girls should have that stuff:)

Yep, I would.... saw some today... they had George (Peppa's brother) ones in Mothercare!!

One of my sons wanted a pushchair when he was 3... so we got him one, and he pushed his Action man toys around in it, lol... he also loved pink... still does, so pleased he has a daughter to lavish pink stuff onto, lol... it never did him any harm, he grew out of it, and he was never laughed at, even though he grew up in a male orientated military environment... and now designs and modifies bits of Fighter planes..... go for it!!

Love

Stray, we have one lad in our family who's 7 and doesn't seem to be growing out of it, bless him. He has toned down since going to school of course because he does get the mickey taken out of him:( But he still wants girly stuff a lot of the time. What can you do? His parents don't want to encourage it but then don't want to give him stuff he doesn't want and want him to be happy - so a lot of the time he ends up with the pink girly stuff lol

he is still ababy and brought up in a very female household...my soldier son always had a doll and pram till he got to about 5ish and always had a bag of crap...I just thought we was coping me and mum and my sisters as we always had hangbags and by then I had D as well so had his baby bag full nappies and bottles and stuff... and he had a hoover and cleaning set he had boys stuff as well, when S was about 2 she had an ironing board and iron and I have a photo of D then about 6 stood next to me whilst I did the real ironing he thought he was helping I just thought this normal that children copied their parents... I did tell him the cig hanging out of his mouth had to go :))))

Let him have the bloody brolly for god sake.....
