GG have a look at the confirmation email you received when you won / bought the item, it should have the sellers name and a partial address....plus als an alternative email address

Ring the ebay customer services telephone number, explain what has happened and they will give you some really good advice

or.............

click 'advanced search' on the ebay home page, Select member from left hand side and click on ' find contact details', then you enter the sellers details and the long item reference number in the two boxes as requested and you will receive a email giving you the sellers telephone number and address !!!!

as a security precaution this can only be done if you have bought / won from a seller.

Thanks Saminkent i done that and got a number, now I'm sure its a con as its one of them machines that tells you the destination of the call is switched off.

Thank you for replying, yes i know there are honest people on there but its kinda put me off, was buying chair for hubby for Christmas so its a lot to lay out twice.
