I attempted to use up some of my eggs yesterday by making mayonnaise. I followed a recipe that i found online and it came out absolutely revolting !!!!

Has anyone got an idiot proof recipe for me please so I can try again?

Thank you

it was a bit of a cooking disaster day all round because I tried merangues (sp) with the egg whites and they were also rubbish lol xx

Yuk yuk - I went on a cookery course a few years ago, and everyone made mayonnaise. They all tasted horrible - even the teaching staff said they never made the stuff!!

It is supposed to be very difficult to make without it curdling, but I have never tried it.

Muffy, why don't you make a Fritatas instead with the eggs. Mayonnaise is meant to be hard to make.

Muffyxx

Muffyxx Report 29 Dec 2009 20:48

It's a bit like Spanish Omelette which we also enjoy. I think we just leave off the cheese. (although I prefer the cheese version)
