I don't think you're moaning Muffy - I think you're reflecting. That's a healthy thing to do. Going over how we feel in our own minds and working it out for ourselves and realising that perhaps things are quite as bad as we thought. Sharing how you feel makes you realise that you're not alone.

It's all character forming I guess isn't it.......maybe my character was in need of a drastic makeover LOLOLOL

You're right Kay.......I'll remember this time of my life and if I can use it to help anyone who needs it in the future I will........I've done it before with previous bad times and hope I've made SOME difference.

I AM moaning a bit Sue I think .......but I don't mean to........I'm just a bit self absorbed and stressy at the mo lol It WILL pass. I know it will.

Rach......I THOUGHT I'd done my *OMG I've got to face this* stage a few years back but it just goes to show there's always room for another boulder to fall on your head lololol

Ann......that's very true xx

Kay????

Kay???? Report 21 Jan 2010 22:13

muffs all you have to do is compare,,,compare to what some have faced or facing and some stuff melts into not being as bad as you think,x

Muffyxx

Muffyxx Report 21 Jan 2010 22:16

Absolutely Kay......compared to some I need a kick up the jacksy for being stressed in the first place........nothing I'm facing is life threatening or dangerous.......just scary xx

When you're facing your own demons you dont' always feel like looking at others lol.

Muffy, you've had a tough time lately, and a big worry, but you're already coming out the other end. You're in a new period of adjustment now, but you know what?

You lost nothing at all. You have your house, your family, your health, your animals, and you've learned to cook! You have as much now as you did before this run of bad luck, in the way of material things, and personally you've gained a wealth of experience, and knowledge that no money can buy.

What don't kill you makes you stronger. Ain't that the truth?

You do get a bit self-absorbed when you have a problem - I think we all do. I have a problem with a family member at the moment and sometimes I think it's all I can talk about. The silly thing is? The other person couldn't care less.

TeresaW Report 21 Jan 2010 22:30

That's the way it goes Sue, then it's only your problem because you're the only one who gives a damn about it LOL (and somehow you're made to feel like the one in the wrong for it)

SueMaid Report 21 Jan 2010 22:31

Oh you've been talking to my sister then, TW?

I can relate to that Aunty Sue.......to the extent that I even got bored THINKING about them.....let alone talking about them...but you can't seem to help yourself.....even though you KNOW they're not worth your time or effort. xx

Muffy - sorry to hear you are going through the mill again. Dentist will be fine - dont know if you recall 2 years ago I was worried with OH and dentist - due to an accident with Jaw he had to have all his teeth removed over a series of operations!! Now thats scarey and for the wife too!! We are both about the same age (you and me not hubby and me) not when you expect oh TO LOOSE ALL HIS TEETH!!

But you get through these things and life makes you stronger xxxx Ive seen you worried before about work and you rise to the challange - you are one of lifes survivors. Some people dont have half your grit in their little fingers!

Hi Muffy hun, sorry to hear you are stressed out at the moment, I can sympathise with you, and yes it come's with being a a careing person, mum, friend, neighbour and many other reason's. We allow are selves to take on all kind's of problem's and were some people couldn't give a toss we worry and so get all stressed about thing's. I myself have a lot going on in the real world at the moment and of late have let it stress me out, but then I say to myself it doe's me no good stressing about it as it just doesn't help matter's, I also look at thing's like all the poor people in Haiti and what they must be faceing and it put's my worries into perspective.
Thing's will get better hun and I wish you all the luck in the world hun.

Take care

When i read your post I had to double check the name on it as I thought I must have written it without remembering HA HA!

NON STOP STRESS!! tell me about it.....

Lone parent of a sick teenager...had to finally give up my job this year to care for her as she is so ill...ergo FINANCIAL WOES. Battling medical profession who refuse to acknowledge her illness is not an imagienary one...battling for disabillity payment for her as her disability is recognised by education board but not any other government department!! My car keeps breaking down due to it belonging to ancestors circa 1800 ha. Commencing divorce proceedings against unfaithful partner...10 days without water over xmas due to frozen pipes....

and then to add insult to injury.....in 3 weeks I WILL BE 40 and the stupid dentist has summonsed me for a check up to commemerate it!!! And wants me to pay for the torture!!

CHOCOLATE ANYONE?
