Blimey Rachel !!! I can really sympathise with trying to get financial support (which I guess I didn't understand before it happened to me)....the amount of forms you have to fill in......none of which make any bl**dy sense, and being switched from one department to another is enough to make your head explode !!!

With all the rest of the things you're having to deal with on top of that......jeeeeeze....you're doing great ...just keep chipping away at it ...I'm sure you'll come out the other end soon !!! If I could I'd send you a lorry load of chocolate to see you through !!!

Hi Diane........yes looking at what some have to face does put it in perspective you're right. Hope things start to come together for you soon too hon xx

It does us the power of good to bring out our demons and problems, give them a good airing and sharing... dealing with them, and then putting them away in the experience drawer... ready to bring out as a reminder of how good you are at dealing with stuff.

A decent sword is forged with fire and water... and it is the same with us. We don't appreciate our strengths until they are tested... and how do we turn our weaknesses into strengths? By dealing with them, that's how.

You have been having a rough time.... other people may have been having what seems to you a tougher time... but that doesn't lessen the impact of your bad time on you.

But do you know? You are strong, you will deal with this, you ARE dealing with it, admirably... and you will come out the other side even stronger. This time next year, you will be looking back on this time, and will be thankful you went through it.

I promise.

Love and ((((((hugs))))))

Muffyxx Report 22 Jan 2010 19:44

It's not the tooth that's hurting TW ...not one bit....... it's my blinking tongue where the chipped tooth is rubbing right on the tender underneath bit !!!

Just had an ice cream too (as per your advice lol) which helped it loads.

Seriously.......about 5 years ago when I was about 30 ISH, when my daughter my youngest child was settled at senior school my eldest was off in the army my middle was due to leave school, I suddenly got a bit of empty next syndrome, one day I sat back and weighed up with what I done with my life, I was happily married nice holidays..and all that I thought what about ME, I has been a mother since being 17 nearly years and always worked doing jobs to fit in my children. SO I decided nope Hayley do what you want to do, the biggest demon I had to face up to was my dylexia, so I went to see about studying english, I was assessed for my dylexia and I felft so relieved when it was confirmed I was, so I decided to do my GCSE, and loved it, I loved writing the stories reading I also discovered I had a hughed thrist for knowledge, I also did my CLAINTS 1 &2...2 years later I got the job I wanted and last year won my promotion...I have never looked back

Well done for facing that demon Hayley.....that's brilliant .

I need to face the demon of going to the opticians . I really don't know why I keep putting it off . I've not had my eyes tested since I was at Juniour school ) oh so many years ago .......lol
A few years ago I noticed that the left eye was getting a bit fuzzy , now I have real problems seeing anything close to.
I bought a pair of glasses for a couple of quid the other day and have been amazed at the difference they make .
Once my " purple panda " black eye has cleared up I'm going to get myself sorted out with real proper glasses.

Amanda, years and years ago someone said to me, your eyes are the most precious tools you have, and you should look after them.

There are some fantastic glasses around now, really stylish and smart, so don't be afraid of wearing them. Lots do..more than you think, and you won't know you've got them after a while. If you get them just for reading, and lose them, check the top of your head first LOL

I will get some sorted out very soon Teresa........I really don't know why I keep putting it off . I've been up in my " craft room " today , sewing etc which would have been a lot more difficult with out the cheap glasses ( and yes , I did keep finding them on the top of my head ......lol ) .
