I love him dearly BUT whoooooooo hoooooooo

I'm really looking forward to being able to clear up and have it stay tidy, play my music waaaaaay to loudly and just generally do my own thing again...

When I phoned to call off the horses (JSA, Council tax etc etc) they were all gobsmacked when I said our change in circumstances was that we were going back INTO work and all of them congratulated us....

Lovely and all that........but i just hope that others in the same position manage to be as lucky as we have been. It's not a nice place to be in.......despite what some say xx

And I'm glad you put that last bit...many people have a tendency to think the unemployed WANT to be out of work and living on benefits, when the truth is, it's not possible, whatever they may think.

And when people go on about taxpayers money, well, I paid my taxes too, so I'm entitled to a little assistance from the benefits system that I've paid INTO, while I'm unable to pay INTO it.

pmsl Marion......actually I've got a bit lazy with him around as I lost motivation when he kept walking across my clean floors with his dirty great shoes !!! Looking forward to some form of routine again !! x

It's like being a puppet TW where you are totally at the mercy of someone else........HATED every second but feel for those that are still living through it. At the moment the majority aren't on it for an easy ride that is for SURE.

There's a lot of reasons why he shouldn't have taken this job because it voids our mortgage repayment insurance for one.....but I just can't justify not grabbing it with both hands and hoping for the best.

You did predict it Hayley ....you said it would settle in the Spring (which is when we hope he'll be able to apply for permanent rather than temporary 11 mths contract) so I'm hoping your last prediction comes through for us. I'm sure it will.xx

I've had so much practical help and support from people on here over the last few months I can't tell you how much of a boost it's given me.
