well now we know

rumour has it .......

......... that Meghan and Harry left Canada because Canada refused to pay for their security any longer

......... that they moved because they were told that they would have to pay taxes in 2 countries if they stayed here and worked in the US

......... that they were told it would not be easy for them to get visas to stay and work in Canada


so ................

............. they move to a place where they will pay for their own armed security guards 24 hours a day at great price

............. they move to the US state that has the highest tax rate in the whole US

........... they move to where it will be difficult for Harry to get his Green card to enable to work, and where if he does decide to become a US citizen he will have to renounce ALL titles he had in any other country. Meghan has to do all the paperwork to get him the Green Card.


Meghan rules, Harry follows behind.

Something about thumbs and under springs to mind.

Perhaps he views Megan as a 'mother' figure :-S

So the million or so pounds that he receives annually from Daddy may not go far after tax

IT seems she didn't like the UK because the press wasn't nice to her if we believe half of what is written about them....umm....when have the press ever been nice!! She didn't know that might happen where has she been all her life.

The real reason they have moved is

They didn't want to pay tax in two countries
along with the Canadians rightly

Not paying fir their security :-D :-D

and Trump has now said that the US will not pay for their security.

He said he greatly respects the Queen but he will not agree to pay for their security.

Nor should they (Americans)

........ Harry is still a citizen of the UK, and I don't know your tax requirements, or those of the US vs UK.

I'm on a site that has a lot of expats and it's things like this that I see Britons really considering when they are considering emigrating to Canada, Australia, NZ and especially the US

Considerng BEFORE they make the move in the vast majority of cases ............. it's young 'uns without families that are "fancy-free" who usually move without considering the future!
