Jennifer Janet has said exactly what I was going to say. Would it be helpful if we started a thread with poems and readings on it for you to choose, or would you rather we not do that? OC |

I think perhaps Jennifer has gone to bed. I have sent pm asking her to read through whole thread tomorrow and to get back to us IF she would like us to collect poems etc for her to choose from. I have said this is only if it is what she would like and nobody will be offended if it is not her wish Jay |

I am not sure what to say about the memorial service Jennifer, but for certain I should carry on with the fireworks etc. on the 4th November... |

I would say do both, a private sparkly one and a more traditional one too, just make it Stephen's farewell weekend, save a few rockets or something for Sunday evening too to round things off, just yourself and close family who happen to be about. What did he used to say to you if you fussed? I bet he had something that he would say if you got in a stew over things, so just think of him saying that, and go for it, Jennifer. Liz |

Have had pm from Jennifer and she would be happy for us to suggest possible poems or readings, which she could then look at and consider for suitability. I will put up a thread entitled FOR JENNIFER - please add your contributions and nudge over the next day or so. Thanks everyone. Jay |
