I often see references to 'nastiness', 'bullying' and veiled references to discontent and division on these boards. What is it all about? I've seen nothing to give me concern, although I would say some of the more interesting contributors seem to have defected. Please, someone explain, and give examples this simple man can understand! |

Not too sure Andy, pretty new to this side, even though I have been a member for years but I think some people have been impersonating others! how? I can only guess they found out the password> strange game????? |

you dont need the password to impersonate any member the persons responsable for this are joining as new members and using existing members board names Paul |

Well that little test proved impersonation easy. Again apologies Paul. It seems to me there is a loophole GC need to pay some attention to. Don't suppose they will though! |

Andy, there have been many recent incidences of people posting messages on the success board late at night and over weekends. Unfortunately these posts have named members and made very nasty personal comments about them If you click on the details of the poster, they have already deleted themselves from the site. I understand that last night there were two incidences of this and in both cases, the names of other members( but with the addition of an extra character in one case) were used as the name adopted by the poster. A chatroom I subscribe to - PalTalk - invites users to give a unique nickname which CANNOT be changed. Seems a good idea to me! |
