I will have a word with the teacher in charge and see if I can get you some details of where to get the instructions/plans. Maz. well I have found out that we are having another allotment day this saturday - I won't need the gym this week then lol we are hoping the council will let us have a load of bottles from the recycling plant so we can finish the job Maz. XX |

oh apparently they completed the whole framework on Saturday and concreted the posts in! Theresa - I asked the teacher today and she sed you have to buy the plans/instructions for about 12 quid - she is going to get the details for you :-)) Maz. XX |

In case anyone is interested ... !! Went again last week and the men finished building the frame for the building and the pitched roof and the kids started adding some bottles. We also painted flowers and faces on the shed, and dug over some more of the patch, transplanting some strawberries and more bulbs. Today we were then again and this is UNBELIEVABLE!! Our plot is next the the fence (unfortunately) and some of the residents have complained that our greenhouse roof is TOO HIGH !!! It is NO higher than anyone elses, but theirs are further away from the fence. So the men spent most of the day removing and lowering and replacing the roof frame. What a waste of effort, I felt so sorry for them! In the meantime we and the kids got two more large areas cleared, we weeded and hoed the bits we cleared before, planted some basil, lobelia and marigolds from the previous patch and planted some bean seeds. Luckily we left about 5 minutes before a torrential rain and hail storm. Hopefully when we go again in 2 weeks time, we can get back on with the greenhouse. Maz. XX |
